Emvets Veterans Housing Program (E.V.H.P.)

Participants in the Veterans Homebound Program have several key responsibilities designed to promote their successful transition to stable housing and support their overall well-being.

Maintain Housing Stability
  • Adhere to lease agreements and keep the living space tidy.

  • Notify Emvets of any changes in housing circumstances or personal situations that might affect stability.

Engage in Case Management
  • Attend regular meetings with case managers to discuss progress and challenges.

  • Actively work on the personalized action plan, including goals related to mental health and substance abuse recovery.

Participate in Community Activities
  • Engage in local events and volunteer opportunities that support veteran welfare and foster community connections.

  • Build relationships with fellow residents and community members to create a supportive network.

Emvets Veterans Housing Program (E.V.H.P.) Responsibilities
Utilize Available Resource
  • Access job training, employment services, and financial assistance programs as needed.

  • Seek help for mental health and substance abuse issues through the resources provided by Emvets.

Follow House Rules
  • Maintain neatness in personal and common areas, adhere to hygiene standards, and respect co-living dynamics.

  • Abide by curfews, noise restrictions, and policies regarding substance use, ensuring a respectful environment for all participants.

Communicate Openly
  • Maintain respectful communication with Emvets staff and fellow participants.

  • Address any concerns or issues promptly with the case manager to facilitate resolution.
